Six Senses Kocataş Mansion is designed with tailor-made pieces of Lazzoni that are exclusively designed for the project! The hotel is located in İstanbul’s most prestigious district Sariyer.
Let’s dive into the vast historical background of the Mansion. The hotel occupies two historic mansions, Kocataş Mansion and Sait Paşa. Both were built in the Ottoman era and were previously owned by Necmettin Molla Kocataş, former Minister of Justice and founder of Kocataş water. The hotel has 43 guest rooms each one of which is generously sized and has design features that are showcasing history. Our source of inspiration when designing the Mansion was Istanbul’s renowned premium hospitality.
All of the guestrooms reflect history with unique styles while embracing modernism. Every room with its simple fresh and warm style and welcoming colors follows the latest design trends and comfort standards. Traditional references' elegance is to the fore, such as a king bed complemented with brass bedhead and footing. Muted tones of taupe and antique white are highlighted by restored timber flooring that is accompanied by a neutral rug, a writing desk, and orientally furnished highlights. The marble bathroom has double vanities, a freestanding tub, and a walk-in shower. Breathtaking views to the courtyard of the Istanbul mansions welcoming every guest.
Bosphorus suites that feature chic tall windows that overlook the courtyard emphasize the high ceilings of the heritage mansions. The extensive and beautifully landscaped surroundings enjoy significant elevation to enable far-reaching views over the Bosphorus.
